This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). 4. AI and Machine Learning

Illuminate uses artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies to provide personalized spiritual guidance. Our AI companion is inspired by about 1,000 teachings from Apostle Joshua Selman and is designed to point you back to Scripture and sound doctrine.

Important: The AI-generated content is for spiritual support and guidance purposes only. It is not intended to replace personal Bible study, pastoral counsel, or the guidance of the Holy Spirit. All AI responses are generated based on patterns in training data and may not always be accurate or appropriate for your specific situation.

Your interactions with the AI companion, including questions, responses, and feedback, may be used to improve the AI's performance and accuracy. This data is processed securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:

  1. Open the Illuminate app and navigate to your Profile page
  2. Scroll to the "Account Settings" or "Delete Account" section
  3. Select "Delete Account" or "Delete My Account"
  4. Enter your password to confirm your identity
  5. Confirm that you want to permanently delete your account

Once you confirm account deletion by entering your password, your account and all associated data (including your spiritual growth profile, journal entries, prayer requests, and interaction history) will be permanently deleted from our systems. This action cannot be undone.

Note: If you are unable to access the app or prefer to request deletion through other means, you can also contact us at support@buildoptimus.com. We will honor your request, subject to legal retention requirements (such as records we are required to keep for tax or legal compliance purposes).

Data Retention: Some information may be retained for a limited period after account deletion as required by law or for legitimate business purposes (such as fraud prevention). However, such retained data will not be used for any other purpose and will be permanently deleted once the retention period expires.

7.3 Opt-Out

You can opt out of marketing communications by using the unsubscribe link in our emails or adjusting your notification preferences in the app.

7.4 European Privacy Rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including:
